Dr. Diana Andreeva is a consultant neurologist. She has 20 years experience in Europe and in Trinidad and Tobago with the full spectrum of neurological conditions (including headaches, dizziness, sensory and motor disturbances, strokes, seizures, neuralgic pain and cognitive impairment).

Dr. Andreeva has full registration as a specialist neurologist with the Medical Board of Trinidad and Tobago (#A-266) and with the General Medical Council UK (GMC #7043588).

Neurological diseases are disorders of the brain, spinal cord and nerves throughout your body. Major types include:

  • Headaches such as migraine, cluster or tension headaches, trigeminal neuralgia

  • Dizziness and vertigo

  • Seizure disorders such as epilepsy

  • Stroke (cerebrovascular and transient ischemic attack)

  • Peripheral nervous system disorders such as diabetic polyneuropathy, myasthenia gravis

Symptoms:

  • Dizziness, vertigo, double vision, poor balance control, nausea, vomiting

  • Blackout

  • Headache

  • Eyelid(s) drop(s) down

  • Limbs weakness, facial asymmetry, speech disorders lasting 30 minutes or less than 24 hours

  • Lower back pain and leg(s) weakness with sensory loss

  • Severe pain in one side of the face

  • Tingling and burning pain on the legs
