Skin tests

to diagnose skin allergies, bacterial or fungal skin infections, and other diseases. Skin tests are also performed to differentiate between malignant (cancerous) cells and benign (noncancerous) growths.

Skin disorders/diseases
inflammation, birth marks, skin growths, infections, excessive sweating, herpes, ulcers, cysts, fungus infections, etc

blisters, sun burn, burns, cuts

Skin Biopsies
a skin biopsy is the removal of skin for laboratory analysis. The sample of skin may be removed with a scalpel or a cylindrical punch, after local anesthesia. Skin biopsies are performed to diagnose skin cancer or benign skin disorders

Cultures
skin, hair, or nails may be cultured to detect bacteria, fungi, or viruses

Nails
a) Nail fungus is the most common disease of the nails and constitutes about a half of all nail abnormalities. This condition may affect toenails or fingernails, but toenail infections are particularly common.
